Frequently Asked Questions

Do you perform?
Yes! I am one of the guitarists/singers for the San Francisco rock band Lipstick Conspiracy. You'd have to have been on the moon for the past few years to have not heard about us! We're all over the place. We've made history by being the first all-trans rock band (and, no, the New York Dolls do not count). We've toured twice, and both tours were huge successes. We've released two albums, "A Perfect Alibi" in June, 2006, and "Don't Tell A Soul," in June, 2004. Our music can be heard on mainstream and college radio stations across the country, and in some international places, too! Notably: England, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Italy, Denmark and Serbia. We are to be featured in two documentaries, the first to air on Swedish national television in 2008, and the other (out of Chicago) to be released in 2009. Visit the band website for photos, interviews, press, news, videos and music and a lot of other cool stuff. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter, The Informant, too!

Sorry folks, I'm pulling these FAQs down as I rebuild my little corner on the web!

I left the above FAQ together, as it is still extremely appropriate of late.

Apologies for those that were interested in this segment of my website, but these FAQs were just too darn old. I've grown so much since this thing went live a few years back. So much water under the bridge and all that. My entire perspective has changed, as has my biology! I do plan on reorganizing all of this, and putting my perspective into, well, perspective. I went from being just the girl who was here for the drinks, into a fullblown transgender artist and activist. Who ever really knows what life is going to send their way? The magic-eight ball never mentioned anything about any of this!

So, stay tuned...I think I'll carve out a little press segment, and put together something for those interested.

Best,
